Where I've been...

On Friday morning I took off with my family to Whitefish, Montana to spend time with my brother and sister-in-law who both live here. It's a winter wonderland, and it's spectacular. I wasn't super excited about this trip but only because the tempurature in Montana was supposed to be 15-20 degrees lower than the frigid temps we were having in Toledo. Turns out though we have have had the BEST weather out here. The pine trees are like nothing I've ever seen and the town is adorable. They have some of the best restaurants and the people have been some of the nicest I've ever met. 

And the skiing.... it's incredible. The quietness of the mountains and the scenery of this beautiful place has forced me to slow down and appreciate the blessings in my life. What a wonderful vacation it's been.  A few days left here and I'm feeling refreshed and ready for all the great things to come in 2014. Hope you and your family are enjoying the magic of this holiday season.
