One of the best things about this job are all of the amazing women we get to meet and become actual friends with. This babe was one of those girls that ALL women would instantly like. She is warm, bubbly and so damn funny. She just exudes straight up confidence when you meet her. So frankly, I was shocked to read the answers to her questionnaire describing how she didn’t always feel that way. It just goes to show you how much the LNS experience can help a sister out. What made you take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
I've struggled for years with body image. From losing weight to gaining it back to being bullied about it, I never had a good self-image. I saw the pictures that Lindsay took and all of the women looked AMAZING. I wanted to be one of them. I wanted to be one of the "cool girls". I was scared as sh** but I booked before I realized what I was doing and never looked back.

Did you have any obstacles or fears about the session?
Literally all of them. How will I afford this? What do I wear? Am I too fat to do this? Will my images look like these? I think it is natural to be afraid but Lindsay and Courtney answered my copious amounts of questions and were able to guide me through the entire process!

Did I provide enough pre-session info?
Yes! It was so helpful and I felt like I could go to them for anything. I knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it.

How did you like working with my team?I felt like I knew Courtney (office diva extraordinaire) before I even met her! She was the one who did my first phone call and I've never felt more at ease. She gave me her phone number and told me to text her if I needed anything and I did and she responded so quick. Courtney (H&M) is literally a magician. She was amazing and knew how to keep the conversation going through the entire process. Everyone truly wanted to see you look and be your best!

How did you like your hair + makeup?I wish I could have taken Courtney home with me! I LOVED it!!!

What was your favorite part?
Honestly, my favorite part was being able to be open with everyone. I had an idea of what I wanted (months of stalking will come in handy) but Lindsay totally knew what she was doing. Lindsay literally posing you from nose to toes was the best.

Did you like your images?
I LOVE THEM! I have had them for 1 day and I think I have watched my video at least 15 times (I'm not exaggerating).

How did you feel when you saw your images?
I was shocked! I legit said "Is that me?" It really was! I was in awe. After so many years of not feeling good enough and picking myself apart, I finally felt beautiful. (Oops I'm crying writing this). I didn't think I could look like that. I couldn't think I was able to be sexy. I didn't think I deserved to feel beautiful. After years of either hating my body or feeling neutral towards it, for the first time I like what I see.

Did you enjoy your session?
Is water wet? haha I loved my session. It was so much more than getting pictures taken! It was an entire experience. It was getting there and showing everyone what I brought to wear to getting my hair and makeup done to getting my outfits on. I started to open up the longer the session went on and I think you can see that in my pictures. I loved the opportunity to get to see the studio before I did my shoot. It gave me a lot of comfort as to what I was getting myself into. I really did feel like I was hanging out with my girlfriends and I didn't want to leave.

Was the session different than you expected?UM YES! IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER! Honestly it is something I can't put into words. It is a feeling. An experience. You really can't fully grasp what exactly is going to transpire until you book a session and do it yourself.

Would you ever do another session?
I wish I could do a session every day of my life haha

Will you tell your friends about this session?
I will stand on the mountain top and scream about this session! I've told so many people and I hope they all book!

Did anything change regarding the way you see yourself after the session?
You really are trying to make me cry. Right after the session, I took a selfie in my car. I've never taken a selfie and kept it. That picture is still on my phone. I haven't shared it yet with anyone but it is still there. And that is a big step for me. Looking in the mirror, I've never liked what I've seen. People can tell you what they see but until you see it yourself, the words have a hollow meaning.
