By far the biggest supporter of Lindsay Nicole Studio has been my dearest friend Amanda. So when she asked me to photograph her adorable niece Ruby, how could I say no? Especially to this face:

This was the first shoot I had ever done at my own home and naturally our furnace stopped working the night before (!!!). We woke up to a balmy 49 degrees on the morning of the shoot. Thankfully the furnace was up and running by the time they arrived but driving around collecting space heaters from friends and family was not how I imagined myself preparing for the session. 

Despite the brisk temperatures, Ruby was a total doll and she came prepared with her own fur coat. Girl's got style!
